Pugs by Sara is a small in home breeder located in western Massachusetts. We have healthy and happy pug puppies for sale. The most important thing to us is to provide you with the pug puppy that you have been looking for. Nothing makes me happier than to know that I have helped complete someones family and that i am giving them a lifetime of happiness and fun with this new puppy. That's what we care most about the happiness of your puppies. What sets us apart from others is that we do not charge outrageous prices for our puppies, we raise them in a home and not a kennel and our pups are very healthy. Our puppies are given tons of love and attention from day one, they stay with their mother for a minimum of 9 weeks before they are allowed to go to their new home. My puppies grow into well adjusted and gorgeous pugs. They are given vaccines at 6, 9, 12 & 16 weeks, they are micro chipped and also registered with the NAPR (North American Purebred Registry) (we choose NOT to be part of the AKC problem) When they go home with you they also come with a basket containing many items, food, vasaline for their nose and wrinkles, toys, a blankie with mamma's scent and much much more.

Pugs By Sara is family-owned and operated in Ludlow, MA. Since opening in 2011, we’ve treated every customer like they were a part of our family. Other breeders may offer similar puppies at much higher prices, but our puppies come from a loving environment and are treated as family members with love, affection and tons of attention. None of our pups are ever crated or put in a kennel at any time. I treat every puppy as if it were my own. Pugs By Sara regularly makes donations to the local animal shelters and for every pug sold a portion is now donated to the Pug Rescue of New England or a local shelter in need. While we do sell our puppies our profits are minimal if any and what we make is used to help for everything needed for the litters. My name is Sara. I've been in love with the pug breed since i was about seven years old and saw the movie "The Adventures of Milo & Otis" I've spent years studying the breed before I even became an owner. The more I learned about the breed the more I loved them. I am sure that there is not a better breed than the pug, they were breed for one reason, companionship. I want to help complete as many families as we can with one of our happy healthy pups.

I also run a group called the Western MA Pug group. Its is a group of pugs and their owners who get together and have basically a doggie play date. Its is a lot of fun for the pugs and they learn great socialization skills too.I encourage all my customers to join this group and to come and be around the breed as much as possible before making the leap into owning one.

I'm also a big supporter of animals in need and I strongly urge anyone looking for a pug to please check with your local shelter before buying from me. My pugs are very sweet, but nothing is sweeter than saving a dog in need. Dogs are amazing creatures and they some how know when you have rescued them and will forever be grateful to you for saving them. Please try to adopt first! but if you do not find a good match at the shelter we will always be here with healthy, happy pugs.
